Am back Slysi. A few (nice) PM's have flowed between myself and Thunderboy. :D
I think to summarise a bit my feelings as I said to TB:
I think to summarise a bit my feelings as I said to TB:
I am just really sensitive to mixing profit with non profit. We as committee members put our time and effort in to building these organisations (for no gain), and I believe it sends the wrong signal when a profit motivated organisation then utilises those structures for personal benefit.
I have absolutely nothing against Afskies - I believe it is a good mag.
I’m glad to see thing are simmering (if that even a real word!!) down
Let’s all just leave this "thing" and carry on flying together.
That is what brought us together in the first place. We are all individuals and so will always have our own opinions.
Best is to agree to disagree and talk about flying. At least that is the one thing we all do agree about......................its blerrie kwaai:!:

Let’s all just leave this "thing" and carry on flying together.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.

Hi Redeye - the very moment the printers deliver the mags, the batches for the 10 different EAA chapters are boxed for courier delivery within 12 hours (e.g. pick-up 22:00 for delivery before 10:00 next morning) to the designated physical address of each president outside Gauteng. Deliveries are confirmed to me telephonically. I have been delivering the batches for the chapters in Midrand, Krugersdorp and East Rand myself. The original arrangement was that members would collect their copies of the mags when attending the chapter meetings, and those in outlying areas who are unable to attend meetings would have their mags posted to them by their chapters - I would suggest that you check with your chapter president about your copies. What we really need is a confirmed, up to date list of postal addresses for all paid-up EAA members, in which case we could mail out the individual copies to each member. As I recall you belong to the Krugersdorp chapter, so let's try to sort this one out soon - I'll do whatever I can to help. :D
