Old plane builder and Pilot needs help.

I have the most stunning story that I want to share with our AvCom & Microlighters members. I met this elderly man in XXXXXXX two days before Xmas.
I also just heard from a friend that there was an old man on a farm who builds his own erries and flies them. Now me I have ants in the pants and before he had hit the end of his stoty I was pestering him to make arrangements for me to go and have a look.

I am not going to mention names but there are some AvCome lads that have met him.

Now to get back to my heading of the post, the "HELP" bit.
The gent is 71 years young and still loves flying, take note I did not say he still flies. Old and neglected they are but both still fly, yes I believe him. Offered to show but I declined.
Now this 71 year young uncle has just been diagnosed with cancer but after some treatment he believes that he is clean but then with some big desise his brother 82 odd years old also ended up in hospital and hae has to foot the bills as they are ex Rhodesia and they do not own much.
He has asked me to help him sell the a/c , for the low wing he wants R55 000.00 and for the High wing make him an offer. Both have vw 2100 cc but only one the low wing has dual ignition.
I realy feel for an old aviator like that and I have seen what AvCom can do in the past, so here are some pic's and i will be the go-between as I do not want to identify him.
