I see no problem, arrange press conferences at all the major airports and then advise them all ML's and PPL's in the respective areas are going to fly in for it. that should get them to listen a little.

Then they must try convince some of the farmers I've flown to that their multi-purpose fire breaker / athletics strip / sheep recreation area is actually an airstrip.

He threatened the same with 4x4ing. Saying that he will close down all private 4x4 tracks on farms as they're ruining the environment. The debate isn't whether 4x4's ruin the environ it's what I do with my property is my bloody business!

In 4x4ing many people make it bad for others, MOST of the time there's no need for wheelspinning and high revs - those are generally the macho drunks. Another, 4x4ing on beaches in SA is actually illegal...

Airplanes on the otherhand can only do airspinning? Plus it's one flippin strip of dirt how much damage is that? Perhaps we can help birds migrate and then he will see planes can HELP nature, not to mention poaching etc.
