I was just to slow to take a photo of the twin that raced across the sky in order to stay ahead of this lot

Very beautiful BUT deadly. I think they are called “mumatos” and is actually the clouds under a “CB”. High winds will follow. Does anybody have more info about these?

Yep mammata, because they look like cows mammaries

These are sometimes found underneath large CB clouds and indicate slight downdraughts below the cloud as it entrains cloudy air downward before it can evaporate
