An interesting question and one i am looking at at the moment.
I have a SLR and when flying alone that will be a hand full. I have been looking at my old tripods and thinking of dismantling one and putting the head on the crossbar.
Does anyone know of any camera mounts that can to attach to a bar?

Great product, costly and unless you pester old Max the service is slow.
I mount a Canon 350D on the bar and wing.
