FLYING THE QUIK

Postby Alex » Wed Nov 15, 2006 9:00 am

Hi Guys

Just something interesting:

I just did 125 mph in a trike descending 20º to 30º and it was the fastest in a trike I ever did! I think it’s not bad for a little trike? Strait and level 105 mph and cruising at 90 mph landing in 150 m and taking of in full trim 150 to 200 m claiming 1200 f/per min. Guys what an experience! :D

Is that really the price of a Quick? R209k?? - Thought it was more. VAT, import duty, fine print?

Is there a big price dif between the normal Quick and GT450 Demon? C'mon, need to start working on Softness's nerves - The "safety" angle works like a bom

"I will be so much safer in a GT450 sweetie"

Try it guys :D It is almost working for me

Hi Artagra

But we do training on a Quantum 912 here at JAG Air Africa and no the Quik here is up for sale for +/-R 300 000.00. The Quantum and the Quik are the mix and the GT 450 was the result. The prices are up to the rand and pound rates. But like Demon says it really is worth every cent! It’s the best flight I hade in a long time! Feel free to contact me and I can help you with the training and good secondhand ones as well. I would like more guys to enjoy what we feel every day here. I can only say what a feeling!

Hi Guys

I think you meant 22 000 pounds x R14 = R 308 000.00 and + +/- R 50 000.00 = +/-R 358 000.00 for a new one. Its worth it guys! There are no words for the feeling when you pass the 172 Cessna’s and you have to slow down in a field circuit like Wonderboom to come and land with the big planes. :D
