Hi all
A newly qualified MPL mate of mine is going up to Tabazimbi in the next couple of days, and has asked me to post this to see if anyone knows of a place up there that he can fly from?
Thanks.

You can only tie the record for flying low.

Landed there a few times with the Thunderbird and Gyro.
I don’t think that there will be any problems with trikes.
The airfield is between two mountains on the edge of the town.
The rotors over those mountains could be quite serious when the wind is blowing.
To the north west is the Kransberg mountains, definitely a site to fly to.
Be safe and enjoy.

Our glider club has a camp there over easter evry year- Very friendly peaple- There is a huge group of vultures in the area=-they often fly very close to gliders its awesome to fly with those birds-the slope lift along the waterburg is fantastic-we often fly all day there in the slope lift
Flying flying flying-- and a bit of gliding
