Hi Pilots
Please can the community weigh in here. I got these requirements off the RAASA website:
Up to a maximum of 15 hrs credit
Minimum of 20 hrs flying which must include;
Minimum of 10 hrs solo
Minimum of 10 hrs dual instruction flying
1 dual instruction flight in/out of controlled airport
Two exams which are;
Principals of Flight LSA
Engines and Airframes LSA
Skills test with Grade A or B instr
I called RASSA and they told me that there are no longer two exams as per their website but this has been changed to one exam: Category specific LSA.
Does anyone know what in in this exam? Is it a combination of Principles of flight LSA and Engines and Airframes LSA? Are there specific LSA books? I only have the AVEX PPL books, are these good enough?
Does anyone have any helpful info or practice exams? Or someone that has written this new exam that can tell me what to expect?
Thanks very much!
Brad

Re: Conversion from MPL to LSA
Hi Brad
The Avex books will be fine for the exam.
They ask a lot of POF and Technical questions.

Brad , i stand to be corrected , but i think you would also have to do a type technical , at the flying school . (its not a raasa exam)
