I'm going to sell my beloved Beaver. After I've finished building my Raven, this aircraft is parked in the back of the hangar and hardly used. I'm flying with the Raven now and I don't actually want to sell this aircraft, but there might be someone else who will fly it more. I've bought this Beaver for R75000 in 2011 and has used it to build hours and gain experience.
It is an absolute delight to fly and for anyone that wants to start flying this is a very safe and fun and affordable aircraft to fly. It has dual tandem seating configuration with dual controls. Minimum pilot weight is 70kg (front seat) and max pilot weight is 130kg (front seat).

Empty weight: 240kg
Max gross weight: 475kg
Wingspan: 11.5m
Fuel capacity: 75liters
VNE: 70kts
Cruise speed: 45-55kts
Stall speed: 25-29kts
Fuel consumption: 16-20 LPH depending on power setting
PRICE: R47000 neg. NO VAT

This aircraft has long big wings and can lift a lot. However the roll rate is slow with the long wings. This is a pusher engine aircraft and like with all pushers the nose will go down when power is applied. When power is reduced, the aircraft will pitch up.
It will take off with pilot alone in less than 35m and you can land within 70m without applying to much brakes. Brakes are hydraulic and the brake lever is situated on the throttle by the pilot's side. On top of the throttle there are two switches for electric elevator trim.
The under carriage has hydraulic suspension on both sides with a lot of travel. This aircraft will land on very rough strips and the suspension will absorb all the bumps very good. Large 8ply tyres are fitted on main gear and after all the time I had it, I never had any punctures even when landing on strips that are full of thorns (like thousands of it).
The Garmin 196 go with the aircraft.
A ballistic chute is fitted to aircraft. It was past packing date when I bought aircraft. The cost of repacking and shipping outweighs the cost of the aircraft. Due to the very low stall speed and flexible undercarriage any emergency landing in this aircraft is considered survivable. One will never need a chute unless you have structural failure. I could not find any info on the internet of any Beaver in the world that had structural failure.
