Apparently the authorities placed unrealistic obstacles in front of standard conformance. When i questioned why nobody could monitor a hand held just to advise on vacate and parking, was advised any ATC advisory and the show would be stopped.

Doesn't make sense. What other issues hindered such a sterile and simple event and which effect normal fly ins, rally nav landing comps etc?
