@ Learjet. I See instructors and Flight academies as DEALERS. I am sure you will understand that i can sell wholesale in this industry and because of the tiny market i need Instructors and academies to support my business. Thus because of their support i offer them a piece of the pie.

Imagine a business world without distributors! how many of us will be unemployed? its because of people trying to under cut other peoples profits that we are sitting with such a crap economy or no supplies!

I Believe to support the worker and the person who does my word of mouth advertising for me! and i believe that no good deed goes unpunished! So instead of just saying thank you i give them the ability to make a small profit on a sale! Its their choice to either make a buck or give their students my contact details to purchase directly. And the sky Riders have been one of the largest supporters of mine sending their student directly to me to purchase! Why? i dont know probably because they have a passion in what they are doing and know what it feels like to stand around with a mouth full of teeth not knowing where to send their students to purchase what they need!

So i think R1700 for my helmet with a BIB is very fare and reasonable

You are more than welcome to pay double the price from other manufacturers, your choice. Just saying. I don't think that give or take 300 rand is a major difference between a school operator that promotes flying and the private individual who is just lucky enough to enjoy flying. We need to support anyone willing to try help us out with our flying passion before trying to shut down all their hard work. Keep up the great work Gerrit

I am not commenting on the products, as it seems great and I also want to support the products. I just want to comment on the quote above. I do not see myself "lucky" to be flying. I worked my arse off to be able to afford it to have good training, buy a safe and reliable aircraft and to maintain it to good standards. (and so is everybody else who owns and flies his/her aircraft)

Are these 100 flame retardant? I see your website says the outside is but what about the inside? I am looking for flying suit for myself while flying R44. Not sure if this suit is designed for normal use in closed helicopter? Also keen on your gloves but cant find them on your website

Have a look under winter specials.
Are u looking for an cotton suit or thermal?
If it's closed Cockpit I recommend cotton as you will burn from the inside if you use thermal

All materials used are flame retardant, but that does not meen you will be able to walk trough a fire... it's a chemical treatment the material undergoes.
