Which fuel to use
Hi all,i fly a aquilla 582,can somebody tell me wich fuel i should use?95 or 93 unleaded?i never know wich one to use.thank you.

I will personally go 95. Bit more octane, that will increase performance. Even more important going this route when not flying at the coast. Not worthwhile getting into trouble where a bit of power could have helped you out. Now that 10cent saving can cost you much more...

That is a bit of an old wives tale. If you don't advance the ignition (or have fancy engine management with knock detection that does it for you), you will not get any extra power from higher octane fuel.Nacho wrote:I will personally go 95. Agree with Justin & Nico. Also, a 2 stroke has a very low compression ratio, effective 6:1. So no knocking possible with even less than 93 octane. Buy 93 unleaded/metal free from a branded, reputable garage and you will have no problems.
