South Coast Fying 2016 - Annual Margate trip

Kroon Flying Club is once again planning a fly-away to Margate over the period 23 April to 1 May 2016 (Sat – Sun) Take 3 days leave and have 10 days of FUN!

We’ll stay in Margate, Ramsgate and Munster but operate from Margate Airport

We’ll have a hanger in Margate and accommodation can be arranged if require, at reduced rates.

The majority will trailer to Margate but a few will fly down . If you have less than a 100 Trike hours in your logbook, DO NOT FLY DOWN!

Having just completed my license, im nowhere the 100hour mark, flying to Margate is definitely on my "bucket list".
Will have to stay home this year, log those hours and then join you next year

Trailer down, you are going to log 15 to 20 hours flying for the week, some of the most awesome flying.
You will want to go down next year again, then you fly down!

Kom ons kry die name van almal op n lys hier.
Daars n groep ouens wie by my oorslaap op die 22 ste ( Yzervarkfontein) en daarvandaan vlieg ons Sat oggend 23 April na Standerton ( of Secunda waar ons juice kry by Leon) dan Volksrus waar ons weer juice kry. ( Daai ouens ken my al,.)
Dan jump ons oor die rif so 10 Knt anderkant Volksrus sonder dat jy dit eintlik gaan agterkom. ( Hoop net daar le nie weer n misbank onder die berge van 50 KNT lank nie.!!)
Dan vlieg ons Battlefields toe waar ons juice gooi, eet en slaap.
Daarvandaan na Eva,s toe vir juice en dan na Margate toe.
Ons sal vorentoe begin organize met die ouens vir juice en plek by Battlefields.

I am sure you have seen some sights...but I went on last years trip and it is well worth it...will maybe do it again this year of all works out ok...

Hi gentlemen, I have a trike trailer. Also suitable for luggage, petrol cans and what have you..
If there is a ground crew member who wants to use it, it might come in handy if some-one want to use it on the return trip.
I am sure it will be a good back-up item cause the year before last we were in need of a trike trailer with the return trip.
