2016 MISASA Mags
Hi,
The mags were posted 9 days ago (22 October) at the Lonehill SA Post Office.
Please let me know if you have received yours ? Do you know anyone at the SA Post Office that can help find them if you are not getting them?
Regards
Alan

Chaps, please let us know if there are pages missing from your mags - might be a publishing problem with a batch ....

Re: MISASA Mags
I would normally wait a looong few weeks before getting mine down at the coast...
Now it seems I got mine at the same time, if not before a lot of the upcountry members!

Re: MISASA Mags
Here's a joke for you Steel...
Last year, our admin lady posted a multitude of mags from Mossel Bay to members. The members received them within 4 days (even in Gauteng). Some folk waited weeks for theirs that were posted from Gauteng.
Alan Mac had a major mission getting bulk stamps as the SA Post Office cannot sell bulk if they are off-line (which seemingly was the case when Al tried to purchase and post - others didn't have electricity - I kid you not)
Al ventured into "darkest Africa" and found a neat post office, manned by very efficient and friendly staff. The gent had a unique stamp printer (yellow labels) and off the system went!
Now here is the joke... not all the post offices know that this little yellow thingy is a printed and paid stamp! The mags we received in the post, our post office wanted to charge for!
Never a dull day in SA...
