Mike what are you looking for, I know they stopped making and supporting those motors so spares is almost no existent.

I'm looking for Pistons, Rings and Cylinders. Yes I agree these parts are very difficult to get hold of , I've been looking for the past one and half months but with no luck so If I don't come right soon, I guess the next step would be to upgrade to a O-300 or O-320.

Unless you are VERY lucky you will not get those parts, tried to help a friend get the same stuff here in SA and the USA, nothing! Did hear that some or other truck piston rings works in the O 290 but got no detail as I will not go that route.

Look at another motor.

AFAIK O320 pistons and cylinders can be fitted to the O290 with minimal work. Chat to some of the bigger engine rebuilders - they will be able to give good advice.
