Nice project great bike Dish. Vespa and lumbretta. Now there is a blast from the past. Drove a deep trench around the washing line with my dad's lambretta because I was to young to be allowed out on the road.

Re: Pilot's and bikers
I am a biker, and a pilot - Well sort-of, even though I have accumulated almost 500 flying hours I have not actually piloted a trike since last November. Still have a valid licence and still love airy's - Ja, I am a biker, and a pilot.
Below my 2 boney's. Harley FatBob & BMW GSA. I have loved motorcycles since I was 14 when I fell my "gat" off on a friend's farm on his dads bike - My love of motorcycling has grown over the years. Love doing trips to Sabie and surrounds

Interesting story of my fall on the friends farm: My mate Malcolm and I were riding on a farm road, no helmets....I was 14 years old and riding on his dad's 185cc Honda, Malcolm on his 125cc. Long story short: I fell my "gat" off. Bike was totalled, I was slightly injured - Nothing too serious.
My friend's dad looked at me and the broken bike we pushed back to the farm - His only concern was for me, and had his wife clean up my wounds. Afterwards we looked at the broken bike (It never road again). The "oom" asked me whether I was going to take responsibility for the bike? I answered "ja oom". He asked how much money I had to my name, I answered honestly that I had R40.
The "Oom" accepted the R40 as full compensation for the damage to his bike, knowing that to me it was a lot of money at age 14 back in 1991.
I was able to trace down the "Oom" last year, he still rides bikes and I asked whether I could now make good for the incident back in 1991, that way things would have gone "full circle".
His answer to me was that he is glad I still ride bikes, and that he considered the matter resolved back in 1991 and that things have gone "full circle" purely by me having remembered him and the kindness he showed me.
Cool story. Bikers rule!!

Should be fun to organize a bike and fly-in breakfast one day. Kittyhawk, Brits or somewhere that can accommodate both
