What happned to this plane?

Postby Bushbabie » Tue Mar 24, 2015 4:26 pm

Some years ago there was a plane similar to the Meyers pictured which had been designed and built as a potential club trainer in SA. I believe the plane was completed registered and stored in a container. Cross between a Stearman, Meyers and a Tiger Moth. I think it had a robin engine. Can anybody give me a lead on it?

It was designed and built here by commercial pilot of either Mango or Kalula.
Never was issued with ATF. Was painted Blue and yellow and I think also had 57 on the cowl.
Was for sale about 4 years ago then I believe dismantled and stored in a container.

I saw something like built by Mike Rood at Heidelberg where he kept it, but that one
had a BMW motor if I remember correctly. That was about 15 years back though, lost
contact long ago.
