Good evening all and thank you for the well wishes.

Firstly - for those who attended Wings (there were 207 of them) Wheels (some very nice Triumphs I did see amongst others) and Water (provided by Mother Nature), a big Thank You. Without your support or attendance, the event would not have been the success that it was. From being severely criticised by certain people in the industry, our dedicated hard work and effort has made them sit up and take notice.... they have possibly become victims of their own sharp tongue or is that pen?

On behalf of the committee, I wish to welcome the newcomer Johan Welman (AirHog) and Louis Jordaan (served previously) to the fold of the committee. Hard work lies ahead. Much to do and achieve...

I have handed the responsibilities of the Internal PRO to Thelma as the chairmanship has it's own challenges. As chairman I also had the privilege of appointing the Vice-Chairman, not only having been the leader of the pack and in the interest of continuity, but for his wisdom and diplomacy - Donald Hicks.

I find myself in the precarious position of being a GLOBAL MOD on Microlighters and should anyone object to this, please say so and I'll vacate that responsibility and appoint someone else should you feel this to be a conflict of interest.

Let the hard work begin as I just know we are going to be presented with some serious challenges!
