Hangers available close to the Wesrand?

I am currently hangering in Magalies. Amazing hangers, the problem is, it is located on the southern ridge of the Magalies mountain range. I always have a crosswind here and as the morning progresses it just gets worse. Been blown off the runway on two occasions

Is there any hangrage available in the Westrand, Centurion, Krugersdorp areas? I tried Eaglecreek, but paying R2k a month for hangrage is not an option for me. Anybody know a place where I can hanger my Beaver? I need to fly more, and my current conditions doesn't allow it, FRUSTRATED!

Hi Nacho.

We can definitely help you out at Klipriver airfield. Might just be a bit far for you.

Hangarage is R500.00 a month and R600.00 a year maintenance

Hi Nacho,

We have space in the hanger at our private strip at Saddle Creek Ranch in Hekpoort, great flying area and protected between the south and north ridges.
