i weigh 82 kg and am 165cm . The cockpit can take a much taller person as i have to use 2 x pillows behind me to touch the rudder pedals .i cant say exactly how tall as its not specified in the manual . In this microlight the pilot does not sit upright but lays back in a very comfortable position with very good visibility .I have taken a very tall passenger for a flip with no issues . Being obese sideways could be a challenging issue as the width of the cockpit and passenger area is more suited for a normal built person . According to the manual the maximum pilot weight is 86Kg , however the cockpit can take a maximum weight of 97.5Kg(Means heavier Pilot needs to take less aboard the cockpit ) and a minimum of 55kg .The passenger section can take maximum 91kg and minimum 0kg . The wing span is 8.5 Metres and height to top of rear fins is 1.75 meters

According to the manual the recommended Pilot weight is 86Kg , however the cockpit can take a maximum weight of 97.5Kg and a minimum of 55Kg. This means a heavier pilot needs to reduce the weight of what he carries aboard into the Cockpit . The passenger section can take a maximum of 91Kg and a minimum of 0 Kg

The Microlight Manufacture / Builder is Low JA and it is one one the later models build with the strong under carriage . I have taken tall passengers with no problem as it has a foot well in the passenger compartment which lowers the seat . I can't compare to the other Shadows as i am not familiar with them . I am not aware of any damage history as i bought it as a flying machine and have had no incidents while in my hands . I have just really enjoyed flying it as it very agile and handles turbulence like it does not exist .
