The Factory is pumping 13 kits out a month and have an 8 month order book - global demand is more than the factory ever imagined or expected .....but we're working on improving that for the South African market - we may have one here in SA within the next few months.
Bantam and trike will beat us on forward viz and price, but nothing will beat these two aircraft for low speed handling, stall stability, robustness and all round STOL performance. From a pilot perspective I think it is a two horse race. Here they stand ....
How many meters was that Sideslip?

This particular take off was not measured but during the weekend just passed, the same aircraft and pilot entered a STOL competition and was clocked at 47 meters.German wrote:How many meters was that Sideslip?

But what is the cruise speed? (If I recall correctly, the BushCat/Cheetah cruise speed is around the 701's VNE)
What is your endurance?
Can you purchase it from the factory ready to fly?
How wide is the cabin?
Does the factory keep the equivalent of 3 aircraft's worth of spares in stock? (here in SA?)
How quickly could it be repaired in SA in the event of an accident?
Look at the whole package and tick the boxes yourself.
As we all know, everything in aviation is a tradeoff. The video I posted was in response to an ill informed post about the Cheetah/BushCat not being a STOL aircraft

Everything has its place and the 701, Highlander etc, are all amazingly good aircraft.
If however your looking for an excellent all rounder, it has to be the BushCat/Cheetah

Re: New Radical STOL aircraft to help anti-poaching
First, I am not running down the Bushcat/Cheetah but I do have a 701 and in response to the above:
Cruise speed: 85 mph. Can cruise at 90 with higher fuel consuption. Have not flown the Bushcat yet but will cruise with Cheetah anytime. Have been on some long distance trips with Cheetah's. And for Game patrol, speed is not a factor, you don't do patrols at 110mph.
Endurance: I fly to Margate from Kroon airfield in 4 hours and 15 minutes. In reserve 13 liters
Factory is in USA but Kit imported and build by Agent local
My Cabin with Bubble doors 110 mm wide. Buschcat is bigger, Cheetah??
Agent have stock, how much I don't know??
Can be repaired at agent. How long depends on the damage.
Like I said, I am NOT running down These products but for the Purpose of this Thread - do not discard the 701 or its bigger Brother the 750. It is perfect for Game patrol.
