Hey Bundy,

Flight was cancelled due to high winds .... Very sad i was really looking toward to this trip ....    (**)

Lets look at it this way ...... Safety first ...... Always ......
Rob....sorry to hear mate, but you made the right call. Cancelling due to marginal weather is always the right call. (^^) Your gut tells you "No"....then listen! :)

No flight or cross country is worth bending your aerie or hurting yourself. Set personal limits and stick to them, you wont be sorry. (!!)

The Tailwinds are always planning trips, there will def be another one chom. (!!)
Thinks mate ... So looking forward to a get away with all braai mates and fellow aviators... ## ## puff

No, apparently it is a Rotec R3600 engine, 150Hp, 9 cylinder, which is fitted as a replacement engine to WW 1 era aircraft like the Sopwith Camel etc.

Need to find this bikes owner .... I have a V ROD Harley great condition to swop ....... (^^) (^^) ## ## ## ## ##

What a fantastic braai we had again. Most of the regulars were there and there was even some flying in the morning...albeit backwards...mooi gedoen Dawid. vhpy

A special thanks to Paul Meanwell who, again, flew in from Brakpan, to join us. (^^) Always great to see you. (^^)

There seems to be a consensus to do the Barberton weekend on the 9th of August....Mervyn, that is what we suggest..is it possible?

Tomorrow morning looks great....will see you there...wheels up at 7. (^^)

Percy, I know all about his kroeking...it is a Gerbing heated jacket....but beleive me he only kroeks when it is freezing cold. He did not wear it this last Saturday...we did a body search. I am looking for one....depends on price. Seems like AutoGyro-Africa at Kitty Hawk sells them.

Paul, seeing that your wife does not often fly with you....maybe I can buy hers? vhpy

I phoned Mervyn on Sunday. He said that after discussing with the others and with Brian Y. he will let us know....suppose update Microlighters.

I also spoke to him while flying this morning but he did not give feedback. Lets see what he posts/SMS's us.
