It was a privilege to witness Big G and Demon put the first of it's kind in South Africa through it's paces.

Hi Demon my mate. I really wish you many awesome hours in your new bird. Honestly this has got to be the most increadable Trike I have ever flown.
It takes off in no distance at all. The thrust is increadable. I got a sustained climb out from 5000ft, of 1250ft per minute. She was as happy at 42mph as she was at over 100mph. I really cant think of any Trike ever with a flying speed envelope of 60mph.

Would love to work out the glide ratio. As your landing approach has to be much flatter as the 450 just glides so well. Roll rate is very rapid and light.

This is definitely the result of two of the worlds best Trike manufactures, Mainair Sports and Pegasus Aviation merging all the best from their previous models into one. Right from the brakes, the clever microswitch on the hand throttle, the electric trim. the aerodynamic undercarriage to the increadable wing

The name says it all. This is the ultimate Grand Tourer or GT450. Designed to carry two 110kg passengers.

I gotta get one sooooooooooooooon!!!

For sale: 2 kids, and one slightly used wife. Will swop for a Quik GT450

Hi Junkie. Quite honestly I cant really see any reason why we all cant fit winlets to out trikes. The attachment system is simple. Obviously they have to be made to fit. There is also no doubt that they do reduce drag. But I would not advise it until the designer of the wing you fly has done all the safety checks as it may cause advese problems on a wing not designed for them.

Demon - well done, all the best. may you have many hours at 103mph. This means that on fly-away's, you can tidy up after the rest, and fly, and then make coffee before they get to the destination.

Quick, (xcuse the pun) question.
Is that speed obtained, because of the wing, or is it also the trike body. I mean, if you put that wing onto a standard aquilla, is it also going to do a better speed??

P.S, pls change your signature.
