No beach landing

One of the trikes had engine problems and we were very fortunate to be in close proximity of a very suitable stretch of beach to land on.
We all decided that we will put our lives at risk to help a fellow pilot and all of us landed on that stretch of beach to assist in one or other way.

Wild Coast flying legend has already developed around the trip concerning an incident in which one of the pilots had to conduct a precautionary landing on a stretch of beach and, and not being able to locate an odd-sized spanner for a temporary repair, resulted in all the other aircraft conducting beach-landings and going though their respective tool kits in search of the elusive spanner, which, legend has it, was found on the last aircraft to land!Blue Max wrote:![]()

Nicely put John. Just a pitty your trike was still in Pretoria, we could have made use of the spanner you carried in you saddle bag.
