Rotax 532 Engine and gearbox

I have replaced this motor with a 582 as there was a problem with the ignition that we could not resolve.

You are welcome to come and have a look at the motor at my hangar at Circus airfield and if interested, make me an offer.

Electric or rope start? What gearbox??

It is a rope start.
Will have to check the gearbox, but think it is a B box, if I recall.

Gavin how many hours on the motor? Its a single ignition right?

I have not got log book with me but it was around 300...
It is a conversion to dual ignition (Trevor Davies), but that is where I encountered a problem, in that I could not get the pick ups to work and eventually got a replacement motor for the plane.
Somebody with more patience and technical expertise than me will probably have more success, or can use for spares?

Well i've got a 503 Challenger that desperately needs some umph. Could you roughly tell me what was done to the engine and what other bits and peaces are included, radiators exhaust? and finally what would you consider a reasonable offer?
