MICROLAND TO PYRAMID (BARBERTON) FLY AWAY -8 to 10th Aug 14'

Greetings, perhaps the winds of change will afford us some flying!

I hereby cordially invite all Microlighters/Fixed/Rotor or otherwise, Novices and the Fundies, to join me for the annual Microland to Barberton fly away.

Departure: Fri Aug 8th first light from Microland via Fred Sturgess' AD at Carolina for re-fuelling; expected back Sunday 10th - Middayish.

Schedule: Wimpy for breakfast and fuel run upon arrival and settling in. Depart for the 'Kruger Run' (13h30ish) along the
Croc River to Komati via the 'Gorge'. Boma dinner, kuier, @!!&**%#!!, sleep.
Depart first light for God's window via Sabie, Mac Mac and Graskop, then on to Numbi for Breakfast.
Return to Barberton via the Croc river and Kaapmuiden/Gorge.
Boma dinner, Kuier, @!!&**%#!!, sleep.

Depart for Microland first light Sunday morning with pit stop at Arnot.

Speaking to Mervyn on Saturday morning, it seems the plan is to change the dates to make this trip coincide with the Africa Cup being held in Hazyview.

Just a reminder that the Africa cup this year will be held as usual in Hazyview BUT THE DATES HAVE CHANGED.

NEW dates 17 July to 20 July 2014

The weather is good and more predictable at this time of year and the hotel can offer us low season prices.

Be sure to book your rooms.
