skydat dx 1 RPM INCORRECT

Hi all

can some one help please , i recently serviced my windlass 503 after having a fuel problem , all seems to be ok know ,just came back from a 2 hour flight .
the problem that i have is the skydat dx 1 rpm all of a sudden is not working correctly ,all the other monitors are working eg altitude ,time flown <km ,etc etc .
when i start the trike ,and it is at idel ,the rpm is showning 7000 rpm ,i rev the trike ,take off etc and stays the same .(what gives )

Or upgrade to GX 2. Lovely, user friendly and good price. Also Serge, the manufacturor, is a most helpfull guy!
