How long should the each piece of bungee be for a Bushbaby's landing gear. The info I have says 4400mm which sounds too long for only five wraps.
Can it be high quality bungee from a marine shop or motor trimmers or is it a special aircraft bungee cord.
Any help appreciated as my main gear is sitting un level and the cord is old. The gap on one side is 30mm empty and the other 60mm. When in the aircraft the nose attitude seems really high while taxi-ing.
bungee cord for landing gear
Re: bungee cord for landing gear
I think 4400 is both sides, i.e. 2200 each side. Speak to KFA at the Bushbaby factory and get the right stuff. You need to know that this stuff will not fail underneath you on your landings, so don't experiment.

I Got onto Stefan, he gave me the aircraft spruce part number, which I have now ordered. Thanks for advice.
I have found the correct installation details and hope this will correct the nose attitude on the ground.
