Nice photos! Hope many more get posted!

Enjoyed the day, excellent organization, the ATC ladies were superb, and after a shaky start, even the weather played along!

Looking forward to next year!

I must second that... What an excellent day... Thank you MISASA for putting this together, all those who worked so hard...
ATC was first class, never a question as to who should be where... Well done!!!

Looking forward to next year...

So where is the next one? The talk over a beer with Nico was that it should be at Potties... So who is in for a fly in at Potties? we get to sample the legendary bushveld hospitality, and the airfield has showers...

Cheers

Thanks all! Had a great day! Slightly nerve racking approach when a parachutist jumped without clearance. Had to slow right down to give him room to land ahead of me, but other than that, really slick and efficient ATC.

Hmmmm... there were some subtle briefs post that - one of the things we will change for sure! All part of the learning curve :-) The ATC girls handled it with perfection!!!!

3minute to drop call
1minute to drop call
Dispatching x skydivers... exercise caution!

Will also be a bit different next year because we will then we will have full controlled airspace!

All the chaps that flew in are safe at home.... Len & Christine that flew all the way from Cape Town in their gyros with their UK guests are routing back to Cape Town down the East coast to Mossel Bay and then on back home....

Their two guests were most impressed with the event and are sure to tell their friends back home about it... they also have Microflight Africa annual editions to show and tell!

..... and we'll do it all again next year!

Next up is the MISASA AGM to be held at the Harvard Cafe on the 11th March 2014 and then the AeroclubSA AGM on the 12th March 2014. (^^)

hey all,

what a lekker day - went out, met John, and some of the other forum members. I also took the doors off ZU-DYB and chucked a meat bomb out the plane at 7500ft in a formation drop with ZU-PAM - awesome! had some guys oogling at the brake setup on ZU-DYB, and it seems that 6 more people want brake upgrades ...

newsflash - manufacturers, why don't you design proper brakes on your aircraft before you sell them...?
