Hell Chaps, Nico is not being sarcastic ;-)

Those that attended the AeroclubSA Awards on Saturday were treated to the first copies of the very first Microflight Africa coffee table edition... all 208 pages of it! Of course a certain editor was rather smug about it and plonked an outdated surplus copy of his mag on the tables... IT PALED - totally - IN COMPARISON!!!

Now, we are in the process of finalizing the address list and waiting for a surprise DVD (we secured to go with the mags) and an extra nice to have item before embarking on the postage project. The MAG comes in just under 1kg and is the best yet! (^^) (^^) (^^)

Will let you all know when it's in the post!!!

Hi John,

How about saving some money for postage and the Postal Service getting blame for not delivering the MAG; why not have people collecting at their flying school/club closest to them, e.g. Microland has possibly about 50 registered members with MISASA. I am happy to collect at Microland; this way I am ensure that I receive a MAG.

1200 members - demographics (not all the members are in Gauteng or close to an ATO) - logistical nightmare - no control of what is sent - sounds easier than it would really be in practice!!

The mag is "in the post" - all three mini containers full.

All paid up members can look forward to getting a copy of the mag and to a renewal date sticker. Please use a blue felt tipped pen to note the date of your licence renewal, medical and ATF.

All but about 100 members will receive a copy of the Aero Club's Safety DVD. If you do not get a copy please e-mail / phone the Aero Club ( full details in the mag) and ask them to send you a copy. We unfortunately did not get sufficient to let everybody have a copy and I did not want to hold up the delivery of the mag.
