The easiest way to do it is to send it to your self on email. Open the Explorer (right click on Start, select Explore). navigate to the pics you want to post. Select the pics if they are individual pics hold down the CTRL key and click on each pic you want. Right click on the selection, select Send To, Mail Receipient. You will be asked if you want to make the pics smaller. Select Yes.

It will open up your email tool (Outlook or Outlook Express). You will see a blank message, no recipient, or content except for the attachments, all resized. Now just select these, right click and select Copy, go back to Explorer and paste them somewhere else and viola now uyou can use them

Use MS Paint to resize it.

below an example....
Original file is 1.3MB.

Open the pic in MS Paint (Ships free with MS operating systems)

Insert % to reduce size. I reduced file of the Demon to 20% and resultant file is 22.8kb

(This is basically what email prg does)

This was my post on Avcom after the trip in December.
Due to bad weather we landed in the Limpopo river last week on our way to Pomene.

Landing on sandbanks or on the beach can be done safely in the following way with a tail dragger.
Tyre pressure is very important. It must be as flat as possible. Deflate until it wants to show folds. Depending on aircraft size and wait it is about 60kpa.

When you approach the landing area bring the speed down as far as possible and hang the plane on the prop at round out. Be careful not to stall and use flaps on some aircraft. At the last moment, before touchdown, pull the stick back to let the tail wheel onto the sand fist and keep the stick in your belly. Power off. The plane will stop within 50m.

For take off select full flaps and push the stick full foreword. Apply full power and as soon as the tail lifts reduce flaps to best takeoff position between 10 ad 20 degrees and hold the nose just a little higher than normal until the plane lifts off. Keep in ground effect to increase to best clime speed.

Beach landings and takeoffs should be done when the tide change from high to low just before low tide. Land between the water and the high water mark. Pick an area where slope is not too bad.

It is better to land and wait for the weather to clear then to risk flying into clouds.

Happy landings
