Flight suite for snow skiing

Postby Triker » Mon Aug 05, 2013 1:20 pm

HI guys

Dumb question, but can i use my flight suite for snow skiing? Will it repell a reasonable amount of water and still be dry in the inside?
Any comments welcome

cheers

Wow ... There's an odd question.

I guess that depends on which suit you have.

I know .... try it on at home and ask your gardener to spray you with the garden hose.
You will soon find out.

Might not have the waterproof properties.

The right way to do it is to buy snow proof kit there and then use it to fly. Better quality, 2 piece (high cut pants more than cover your arse with shoulder traps) all the weatherproof cuffs around the ankles and wrists e.t.c and breathes better than a flight suit.

Go to the bargain stores, best time is after Chirtmas or at the end of ski season for the same price as a local flight suit.

Best thing is you can mix and match, so short fat okes or long skinny okes can buy off the rack.

I used my flying suit for skiing(/falling). It is a flight suit I originally purchased for Paragliding. Worked 100%.
