Welcome Will,
Add another 200m to that runway and the gyro guys will flock to your place.

Hey Hey...
Welcome Will,
Anyway...i think it would be great to plan a weekend up that way...just to keep the GT boys at bay
I think the Chan Gang would definitely be in...Tailspin, Madman, Tank slapper and myself...we will be there..
P.S..Just keep away from propwash dave and his accidental fly by's...lol

At last some good weather this am, managed to take some nice pics of the runway and lodge.
Hope this pic and writing is readable, and has come out correctly , as my first attempt at this.

Re: Swazi fly away
SO Guys,
What happened to wanting to fly to Swaziland? I am investigating the paper chase to being able to bring ZU airies into Swaziland, as I will be working there for a while and need to fly while there, otherwise I will go through withdrawals...
William put me in touch with another William who also flys a bantam on the other side of the country, who I am staying with, and he is also keen to have fly in visitors... So who's keen? lets get this thing started...
Cheers
Craig

Scorpion on this forum aka as Chris van Zyl used to fly with me from Matsapha Intl, its a very much trike friendly environment. I used to hangar at the end of the taxiway. If i remember correctly i paid E200,00 a year landing fees. Chris has just bought a Savannah and its on the SA register. I used to buy avgas at the pumps without duty as its a ZU aircraft.
Email him on chris at tcc dot co dot sz and he will be very helpful. Hes staying with us the weekend and i am sure he will be glad to have somebody to play with..
You will enjoy Swaziland and especially the airport, its great fun to wake up the ATC...
But Matsapha is a really challenging runway as the wind blows in three directions at once..wait and see..

Dropped Chris a PM, to ask him about permits etc... so lets see what happens... William Mundell is just as happy to have fly in guests as Willows is... so we have at least 2 places to be from a runway perspective... as an indication, who all would be keen?
I am happy to do some of the organising... Imwill make a plan to visit the SCAA while I am there in the next 2 weeks...
Cheers

Don't you have to fly to Lanseria, Kruger International or King Chaka to clear customs first?
