Herewith some important information and requests for the event:
1) Please provide us with the following information:
a) Your expected arrival date and time
b) The guesthouse or place where you will stay in Douglas
c) Will you be making use of your own transport or the SAGPA arranged transport
d) When will you depart from Douglas
e) Do you have any dietary requirements for the food at the Saturday evening dinner
f) Will you attend the dinner alone or with a partner
g) Your fuel requirements at Douglas
h) Will you join the Van der Kloof dam / Petrusville Sunday afternoon lunch flight? (See point 14 below for details)
i) Will you join the Sunday late afternoon game drive?

4) Nigel Musgrave will be the safety officer for this event. Normal unmanned procedures will apply, but Nigel will be in an advisory capacity on the ground.
5) Please adhere to the ground marshals for taxi and parking instructions.
6) One or if required two large hangers will be provided for the gyros.
7) 95 Unleaded fuel will be provided at the airfield. This will have to be paid cash as no card facility is available.

Transport has been arranged from the airfield to the different guesthouses and to and from Broadwater estate (where the AGM and Saturday evening dinner will be) to the other guest houses. Contact details of the drivers will be provided. We will arrange with them for early morning pick ups from the guesthouses to the airfield, so please inform us or the drivers of your requirements.
9) There will be tea, coffee and rusks available at the airfield for those early morning and sunset flights.
10) Lunch and drinks will be available at the airfield on Friday between 12h00 and 16h00 and on Saturday between 10h00 and 14h00.
11) Those pilots flying in only on the Saturday or those going for a scenic flight on Saturday morning, please try and be there or be back before 12h00 to join us for a drink and social at the airfield before we have to leave at 14h00 for the AGM.
12) There are quite a few neat and clean individual showers units at Broadwater estate for the visiting pilots (non Broadwater resident) that want to shower and dress before the dinner. Just bring own towel and soap.
13) There will be a cash bar during the AGM, on the sunset cruise and during the evenings dinner.
14) We are planning a Sunday Lunch flight (thanks Andre) down the Orange River to the Van der Kloof Dam and land at Petrusville, from where we will be transported to Pride Rock overlooking the Van der Kloof dam for Sunday lunch.
15) We are also planning a sunset game drive for those interested on the Sunday afternoon after the return from lunch.
