There are times where two will be very beneficial. The lectures have been a bit quiet lately with only 12 -20 present. When we hit the 30-35 mark as we did in the first two...believe me we will need two braai's (^^) vhpy

My vote remains to buy this one...and repair/make another to compliment it. 8)

With the braai sorted we can set our sights on the bigger goal of building a covered braai area alongside the lapa. (^^)

Agreed. Braaiing on a big braai for a small number of people means the heat will be lost on the sides of the small fire. We will always have the need to braai for a small number of people and then the smaller truck rim braai will be my choice. The tank spares braai can be fixed in the mean time to serve as the big braai. The problem with the relic is because it is open on the sides the wind blows the heat away. The truck rim braai keeps the heat in. puff

Stef, does the Hokaai truck rim braai have an ash tray/drawer underneath, like yours? Can't see from the picture. :?

What happened about our Tailwinds badge?

I have been looking all over for the rim braai with the ash tray, but they don’t seem to make it that way anymore. The rim braai we can get for R 900 has not got an ash tray. I don’t think it is a train smash though, Johannes cleans the braai for us in any case.

So it is decided then....

...I will go and purchase the Braai tommorrow. (!!) Will be ready for use on Sat. I will also be buying a short chain and padlock so we can chain it to the Lapa poles!

Yip, I also submitted some, but the point is, we never voted for which one. We also need more ideas before we vote.

Julle manne, wie so spekuleer oor die braai moet asb net onthou dat daar n paar 'country members ' is wie ook n se het in hierdie saak.! :o
Dankie,
(^^)

Bundy, I'm super chuffed that the braai weekend for July was moved to 27 July (^^) I'm back in SA on the 25Th July and will deliver the potato salad and chocolate cake personally (^^)
The "flying vlakvark" badge gets my vote

Oom Paula, jy maak my nou baia hartseer. :(> ...waneer was jy nie uitgenooi nie he!

For the badge, we need more suggestions...come on guys and girls...rack those braines..you must have some ideas. Just draw your idea and post it here or bring it to the 27th braai. There is no such thing as a bad suggestion...what is bad, is no suggestion. ##

Jissie..... ek het nou net n lekker NUWE braai vir myself gekoop....baie dankie julle!! (^^)

 ^

NOU GAAN ONS BRAAI!

(^^) (^^) (^^)

Will deliver it to ML on Sat boys...The braai will be chained to a pole under the lapa to protect it from the elements. ( rain, hail, sun and nationalisation agents)

I will put a combination lock on it and the code will be sent to you all to save on your phones....you can then unlock and use the braai whenever you wish. 8)

Well done all....our first "club" purchase. vhpy
