At our recent MISASA fly-in, I snapped Neville Ferreira start his take-off run in the Yak-55. Those that attended the Tedderfield Shoot-Out will remember his display in this seriously capable east block monster. I didn't have my usual lens with me as, well, most photos would be up close and personal. Little did I realise what a surprise I would have when I downloaded the photo and cropped it heavily... when a pilot becomes a surfer and rides his own "tube" vhpy
