A pilot in need!
Greetings All,
It is very difficult typing this…
Recently my wife had to go for an operation on her lower back; her condition was getting so severe that her leg started becoming lame. We had no choice but for her to go ahead with the op at the time as delaying it would have made it worse. As many of you may know, medical aids only cover so much, and with this we have had to pay in quite a large co-payment to get the operation done, not to mention the continuous bills we now receiving for what other items medical did not cover. With my wife’s condition being the main focus, we have found ourselves running short on our rent payments.
We have tried making arrangements with the landlord but with no success, and we are now faced with having to pay up the outstanding rent of R25000 or vacate the premises. Unfortunately vacating the premises is not an option at this stage as we have a 6 year old daughter who started school this year close to home. Fact is where would we go, given our current financial situation.
Due to my unemployment some time ago, my credit record started getting messed up as my wife was the only one bringing in an income and we were barely getting through the month.
We are not asking for charity, but for a loan. We will pay back every cent borrowed to us. Please if you are willing and able to help, your help would be much appreciated.
Below are my banking details, if you are going to make/have made a deposit, please send me a PM/Whatsapp/SMS or email with your banking details, so that we can repay you.

My Dad always used to say, "If you can afford to lend it you can afford to give it..." So please pay it forward one day... it's not much but I hope it helps you.
I hope you wife gets well soon.

Re: A pilot in need!
Not easy to ask for help Rafiek...last year was my worst year ever financially and I doubled our debt leading to huge problems. I fell into depression which got worse every month until I eventually cried out for help. All I can say is I'm so grateful for the family and friends I have who steadied the ship and got me through it. Sometimes we cant do things on our own...
EFT done...I hope it helps in some way mate.
Not a loan...just a gift.
Good luck, and I hope the softness makes a full recovery from the op.

Hi Madman,
Nothing wrong with asking for help when one needs. It takes more of a man to ask when one is in need than not to ask. Hope every bit helps and the wife recovers fully.
Not much but deposit made...... as with everyone else so far, this is a gift not a loan....

Hi Rafiek
You don't know me but I do enjoy reading your post's and seeing your pics on this site, you guys seem to have a great bunch of pilots up there in the big smoke, I fly out of Ballito on the KZN north coast and we also have a great bunch of guys, we have just returned from the Kalahari Bundu Bash, so when ever you are in the Durban area give me a call and I will take you on a coastal flip in my Foxbat.
I hope your wife recovers fully from her op and I wish all the best to you and your family in this trying time, chin up boet and remember the glass is always half full!!!!
Like the rest of these pilots I have made a donation and not a loan so when you are back on your feet maybe you can help someone else.
All the best
Mark Hudson
