Man, we are fortunate…..

Postby loansharkblv » Sun Jun 04, 2006 7:13 pm

Well, Fruidman missed the opportunity to take his first flight in a “real aeroplane” this afternoon. Gave him a call but he was too busy playing golf – Come now Fruidman lift your game. 8)

Anyway, I called the next person on my list of test pilot candidates (the company that I work for has in excess of 1300 employees so it is a long list…) and he met me at the airfield 15 mins later – At this rate I should have worked through all the PAX by 2087.

The WX was perfect, not a bump in the sky, flew my normal “first time pax” route and patter. 30 mins later we where back on the ground as the sun was setting. Another one hooked………

This just got me thinking was fortunate people we all are to be able to fly. From the bloke in the KingAir Twin to the bloke in the PPG it is an experience that can’t be adequately expressed verbally. It is only when you get a new PAX down on the ground again and hear them trying to explain to their family and friends what an awesome experience it is that you once again realize how fortunate and blessed we all are.

Anyway, safe flying to all of you out there for the week to come, the sardines are getting close and here in East London anything and everything that can fly is fueled and waiting to see the shoal come past……………..

No need to rub it in, Loanshark!

I still have sleepless nights about the missed opportunity! I told you to come and fetch me on the fairway of the first tee box! Just a quick in and out...no-one would have noticed... (Like my sex life!) :D :D

What you doing this weekend? Weather permitting? ':-

I'm going to sell my KDX 200 and give up golfing for flying. That way I will always be available for a quick flip.

Tried to get hold of Clinton Phillips again, just voice mail. I need quotes for MPL. I don't 'want' to fly...I NEED to fly! I'm so despirate, I did my PPL on Microsoft Flightsim twice in about an hour..again. It just isn't the same!!!

I haven't forgotten about the 2 beers I owe you. If the weather is crappy, maybe we can make a plan and settle the score. Obviously there would be more than just 2 beers involved! ^?^

Pleeeez, anyone...whatz an MPL gonna set me back! Do I need to sell one child, or both children plus wife?

Give me a call and let me know what your plans are, Loanshark. Otherwise, have a great weekend!!

Fruidman Out... <*>

I know we really are fortunate to fly. I have friends I know who would love o fly but can't for whatever reason, finances etc.

I guess part of the fun of flying is sharing it with others and taking first time passengers up to share a bit of the blessing with them.

I can't wait to see the look on your face when you see the look on my face after noticing that you're staring at my face beacause of your face being stared at as well! :?: :D

Check out my new avatar. Depicting excitement after our previous flying outing....yeehaaaa!
