I'm guessing your pic file is too big Vern....you need to get it below 100Kb.vernon11 wrote:Sorry. I was trying to upload a picture, but still no success.
Right click the pic...select "mail to recipient"... then select "make my pictures smaller"..it will open your email browser and then your pic will be visible as an attachment at the top of the page. Right click the attachment and "save the file". Exit the mail browser and then you can upload that same saved file onto ML.
Problem is that sometimes even the re sized file is too big! Mods is it not possible to make the limit 150Kb?

There is an easier way.
Create a free account at http://www.photobucket.com.
Upload all of your pics, no matter what the file size is.
Once uploaded, copy the text in the box marked "IMG" and simply paste it into your post on the forum.
It will automatically sort the file size out for you.

Take another photo with the camera set on a smaller pixel setting. I couldn't upload 7.1 mega pixel pic's onto Avcom. Set the pixels to 1 or 2 point something and no further problems. These photo's will probably not be good for much else but I couldn't see a difference in quality on the forum.

Folks.
Sadly I had to sell my beautiful Savannah, so now this is my new project, which I will be getting back into the air asap.
Challenger 11
Rotax 503
It has been standing for over a year gathering dust, and needs a lot of TLC.
I will keep you posted on my progress.

Thanks Nico.
Re: My new project
Good luck Vern!
I hope you can get your new baby up in the air where she belongs.
There is something really rewarding when time is spent giving an aerie a second chance in life....so many unloved and dust covered planes rotting away all over the place....just makes me wanna cry. It's different when you simply buy a flyable plane...that's easy...the hours and hours of effort you put into a restoration project leaves you with a much "warmer" feeling at the end of the day.
She will reward you for your efforts.

Thanks guys.
I collected the fuselage last week and today I collected the wings. I have a few other things to do, then I will start in earnest. I know my priorities are not in place, but this is life.
