Ok, Tinkerbell, Danie(ATC) and myself had a meeting this morning. All is ready and proceeding as previously reported.
Danie that will be doing the lectures is a very experienced ATC and also an active ppl pilot. So, we are in very good for the day.
Tinkerbell is doing a lot to ensuring that all the logistic are in place and ready for the day. Thanks Tinkerbell!!
The day will start with a power-point presentation on VFR Radio Procedure (n hele lang lys van goed). This will be until lunch time at 12.
After lunch will be practical. We will be 4 pilots at a time with the ATC around a board simulating an aerodrome, x-country landscape, vfr reporting points, ctr, tma, etc. We will then fly our little plastic aircraft as in real life and talk to the ATC or information as required.
Guys and girls this is gonna be a blast!! So drink lots of Wochtershire Source and get those vocals ready!
