Hello Chaz

Thanks to Carmen and yourself for the braai on Saturday!! (^^)

Saturday the pilots at Springs celebrated Carmen going solo. She had to do the full pre-flight, radio check, taxi to holding point, take-off, one circuit and landing procedure on her broom using the carpet as a runway!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

Proud Dad !!

Heya Folks :!: :!:

Was out at Springs Airfield this morning to watch Fred put Carmen through her paces. Fred done 2 circuits with Carmen and then let Carmen go 'SOLO" for 4 circuits. She greased it and her landings are near perfection. :D :D :D Fred also let her do engine outs and overall i am one helluva proud Dad. Its the first time since Carmen went "SOLO" on the 03rd Jan 06 that ive actually seen my daughter fly "SOLO". :D :D :D

Erm well i did do 2 whole circuits this morning demon :oops: :oops: :oops:

Getting back into it slowly again. Will just have to check when Carmen fly's as a couple of weeks ago we had a slight argument :shock: :shock: about who was going to fly that morning :D :D :D . That morning she won the argument and she flew :!: :!: :!:

Well if all goes well watch this space again after the coming Saturday. Carmen has been booked for her flight test. So by mid morning Saturday we will have a young lady joining the micolight fraternity. :D :D :D

I will have you know although she is my daughter she does as ive seen and as Fred Blokland says "Fly very well". I am PROUD of her and its been a bliss watching her develop and get aviation sense :D :D :D
