I am in process of arranging something similar at Kitty Hawk with Andre Kemp, ATC at Lanseria. Apparently he used to present radio courses. Just waiting for dates from him. Maybe we should combine efforts?

The person who says it can't be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

UPDATE:

Spoke to Santjie this morning. She is in the process of finalizing a ATC for the day.

The gyro-copter gang want to join from Kitty Hawk. Tinkerbell has the same idea so it might be better that we join forces.

It is possible that the number are going to exceed 30. To accommodate everybody we might move the venue to Kittyhawk.
They have a restaurant and lecture facilities for up to 100 persons, although we wont be near that number. I understand from Tinkerbell that the Kittyhawk facilities will be free. They have a restaurant, we will just arrange that they are prepared for the volume of people on the day.

The only fee then will be to thank the ATC for his time. We pay on the day and amount will be confirmed.

Hoping to arrange for the last weekend in February.

Now just how many radio courses does Folla want to do? Its NOT going to help him to land on the centre line.
Ja hopelik na vandag trek jy die woorde terug. Ek weet nou die ptt is nie n korrelvisier nie. Werk nou hard aan die landings. (-)

This is a great idea, (^^) I have only done one refresher after license  It is time again, I loose myself more and more on frequency

I am going to drag two other pilots along, so put 3 on the list please, Thys Bas, Spaceboy and Koos.

Thank You

PS, If on Kitty Hawk we can fly in weather and time permitting. I know it is MUCH quicker by road, but MUCH nicer by air (-)
