WOW what fantastic flying weather we had in Cape Town from the 6th - 15th. I flew every day except the 8th and 10th. (11 more hrs closer to the big 200.) :D :D :D

On Sunday 14th I took Claudia (Shanes wife) for a mothers day beach flight. 8) 8) 8)
Then my son Deon and experianced a light rain shower. Was glad we wore helmets.
When Shane got back to Morning Star we flew to the clouds (see Junkies post) and flew amongst them. What an incredible experience. Shane was so impressed he starts training on Trikes on Sun 27th

Well winter has arrived and it looks like we will be grounded for a while.

Just in case you all wondered, Gr8-dad and I did have a Lamb Potjie, which was great but after the last time I had his Chilli  I opted out on the hot stuff.

Now back to the present, I feel embarrassed to say that CLU-less and I spent a good few hours in the air today, him more than me, the bastard  . This morning we did 45 minutes, before he went off to Wintervogel for some more flying. I had to go to that FOUR-LETTER word place whose name is forbidden on this forum (Hint begins with W and ends with K and has nothing to do with self gratification in any sexual manner at all)

Later the weather still looked so fine I snuck away from previously mentioned place of evil with the plan to balance my carbs. (the difference in EGT temps was 50 to 60 deg and they needed setting up, urgently, these things have to be done, you all understand this dont you :?: )

Anyway, ol CLU-less joined me, jumped in the back for the test flight, we returned, adjusted a bit more and took off for a brilliant low level along the beach. WX was excellent (sorry rest of SA but this is the first flight I have done in 10 days because of the K@K stuff we have just sent you)

Ended up doing 1h50 today. I hate flying :>>

Yep Morph Wed was a great day. I really enjoyed the flights with Morphman and was impressed with the low level beach flight. =D* =D*

In the morning after doing a couple of Touch n Goes I left Morph to go to his beloved work (It's hard to get him away from the place)  and flew to Wintervoegal to take Jamie (American) for a flip to the beach. :D :D

Today another front is coming in to ruin the Tanque fly away

As CLU-Less says the tankwa flying has just been stuffed up by another Cold Front.  Maybe we can move it to next week and then I can go as well

Yesterday, headed off for Microland, changed plan for Springs coz we were concerned about fuel for return trip, landed after 1 hour 40 min.

No breakfast - dronkgatte vandalised the gas pipes. :(

Trip back to Secunda - 35 min, air speed 50 m.p.h. g.p.s. - reaching 80 knots. :P
