Ok so Oktober het gekom en gegaan, October came and then went :twisted:

Repairs done and finale testing before test flight.

Will post pic's later off completed airie!

Goose net vir jou, om te wys hy het wel 'n voorkant :wink:

Besig om net weer deur alles te gaan en seker te maak al die boude en moere is goed vas. Die rigging word weer nagegaan en sommer besig met een of twee "touch up's" aan gesien Cyril eers die 27ste terug is om die toets vlug te doen gebruik ek nou maar die tyd konstruktief.

En ja Goose sal weer foto's neem wanneer die cowls terug is en alles is reg om te vlieg.

PS: Geseënde Christus fees aan julle almal! vhpy

Baie dankie julle en ja dit is nou 'n goeie kersgeskenk, van pa aan pa vhpy

Goose net om vir jou te wys, die finale produk. Wil nog die brandstoftenks kalibreer, 5L per slag ingooi en dan merk sodat ek mooi kan sien hoeveel daar oor is. Met die nuwe tenk ligte kan ek amper more sien aankom :twisted: Dan net 'n paar hoë spoed "taxiruns" doen en weer die magnetiese prop nagaan dan toets vlieg.

Ok so I am one extremely happy owner (^^) vhpy ## .

ZU-AXT took to the skies again today, 28-12-2012, and very happy to report all is well. All temps and pressures are 100%, magnetic plug is nice and clean and motor is vibration free.

Got a P-prop 72x48 on with the 2.43-1 gear ratio on the 95hp, would like to get about 200rpm static more but Cyril say leave it as is, after all he did get 1200fpm climb one up and 2/3 fuel and 1000fpm two up so guess it's not that bad. Cyril didn't "push" her but flew back to Rhino at 80mph @ 4800rpm and 11Lph fuel burn. Maybe I will speak to oom Piet but think I must go for a 72x52?????
