If you are used to hangaring at microlight airfields, then you will likely fall off your chair when you get some quotes at Wonderboom... Expect just short of R3000pm for communal hangarage (**) .

Justin

I was renting a space for R1500 pm so it was not that bad. The hanagr however was sold so now I am looking for new space.
Hoping that I won;t have to pay R3000 (**)

Cheers

I tried a few months ago, but the best I could find was +/- R2900 from P166 on Avcom... Sounds like you had a bargain there!

Hi Piet,

Have you tried Zynkraal? I think they may have hangers avalable....certain they will be cheaper than FAWB? No ATC fees either!

A J400 needs a minimum of 800m of good tar to get off the ground at MAUW on a cool day. On warmer days, 1200m would be better...
