Hi Bundy, as discussed, me & D are in. (^^)
Bundy wrote:Plan is to be rolling at 5AM chaps.
What is the cut off time? If you are not there you are on your own.  Sun rise is at 05:06 am, therefore we can take off at 04:50 am. Let's make it 5 AM. puff
Bundy wrote:YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN FUEL. Those carrying Pax please arrange with Blue Max for cans on that side. I will be taking 2 x 25L cans for the trip.
Thanks Bundy, how much are you selling the fuel for. I need 1 x 25L.  I will arrange with Paul. Depending on the sorties we do around his area I may need more. Worst case, 3 x 25L will be good for me.

Considering the prevailing winds are northerly, I still think we should plan direct there and scenic back. I will reserve my flight plan for the day.

You can forget everything, but don't forget your money! ##

I will be at ML on Fri the whole day & passing through to Springs on Saturday. (^^)

Loaded the airfield waypoints Bundy. You can collect your GPS'r anytime. You know where it is. puff

Can we confirm the following people for the Elands Trip on 7th-9th Dec?

Stefan/Bundy
Fiezel
Paul and Dionne Mulder
Anthony Hugo (Rhino Park)
Asterix (Potties)
Madman
Jaco and Chantelle
Pieter
Louis Cole (Jakkalsdans)
Frank and Sharon Smallwood

Plan is to be rolling at 5AM chaps. (^^) If you are not gonna make it please let me know so Paul does not cater/accomodate for you. He has said there is no need to book, the honeymooners have their private rooms.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN FUEL. Those carrying Pax please arrange with Blue Max for cans on that side. I will be taking 2 x 25L cans for the trip.

Over night bag and some "randellas" is all you need. Dont forget your tie down kits!!! ##
Paul has posted the GPS coords above, it's a very easy VFR routing though guys. My GPS will just be for back up. 8)

Who is flying this Sat? Maybe catch you there at Faba?
Sorry B,

My aerie not gonna be ready in time :(

Next time :)

Safe flight and njoy :!:

Try explaining that to a woman (**) Alan, are you still taking your Isuzu up or is it trikes only? If there'll be a vehicle with a free spot for some gear I'd be grateful.

Plan for trikes only...I will only know the answer to that question at about 4am on the Friday we leave

Cobra...tell Chantell that whatever she is taking has to fit on her lap....otherwise she has just volunteered for ground crew duty!

That Cobra has plenty packing space chom, rucksack (wrongway round) on her lap and you are sorted. BM will assist with fuel cans...just make sure he has enough. I run on Pre mix so cant help I'm afraid  Unless you want to do some "skywriting" with the extra 2 stroke component.

Alan I'm still in for Elands camp next weekend. I'm trying to work out the logistics of getting there in time. I stay about an hour away from ML. Plan is to fly to Microland on Thursday morning or afternoon and if you can try and arrange hangarage I can maybe sleep in the hangar. Otherwise I would have to convince Fransa to pick me up Thursday and drop me off again at ML at 04:00 next morning. Either way I'll be there.

Hi Louis, if we can find a parking spot for your trike (there must be space in the general hangar?) you're welcome to stay over at my place. I'll be at ML on the Thursday afternoon to prep and Friday morning we drive in.

Thanks BC I appreciate the offer. I'll check out the weather and let you know if I'll fly in Thursday morning or afternoon. Probably best in the morning which will give me two bites at the cookie. My cell no. is 0824130476.

Hi Louis, I've spoken to Hans, there is space in the communal Hanger for you, no charge.

If you get there in the AM then just ask Fanie/Mervyn at the flight school to open it for you, or else try locate Johannes. If there is noone there then phone me and I'll tell you where the padlock code is written :) The avalable space is probably on the south side I think.
MLAND.jpg
I will also be there in the late afternoon to prepack and prep.

Gonna be a jol! Thanks for offering to host Louis, Jaco (^^) ....My house would've been the couch, I'm sure he will appreciate a bed more. (^^)

Louis, when exiting Pinedene, route along the R50 and report overhead at 6300ft....all circuits to the east, Freq 120.35, circuit Alt 5700ft, beware power lines on thresholds 09 and 03. (^^)

Fly safe, we see you here. (!!)
