How about an Overnight Fly away?

Postby Tumbleweed » Tue Nov 06, 2012 5:58 pm

Before anyone mentions the dreaded year end, why don't we start suggestions to arrange a social overnight fly away?

Maybe a Saturday, 150 mile radius from JHB, B & B status with runway, accomodate 20 to to 40?

Trikes, Gyros, fix wing, bakkies, the lot.

vhpy
I like the idea.
There are many okes who owns me a vissit, TC included..!!
The difference between my place and TC,s place is basicly that my place is a selfcatering buscamp and not a Lodge.
I have been at TC,s place a couple of times and it is a moerse bakgat plek.
My place is boscamp..You will sleep on clean linnen on a comfortable bed and we will have a moerse lekker braai at the lapa and if weather is fine we will have a flight over the loskop dam and along the Olifantsriver to the Orabie dam and back to the camp along the Elands River..(1 Hr 15 min.)
You will probably meet some of the Potties trikers like Nicow and Asterix and a few others from Groblersdal as well..
I will buy stakes and skaap rib at the local butcher at cost and we will split the account afterwards..
Your overnight cost will not be more than R50 a person.
Breakfast will be about R30 Each..
Ek praat jou thaal...

Blue Max give us the configeration/ beds or rate per chalet and let each group can book their own.

Should we poll a vote or just accept the 24th November? Availability Oom Paul?
