Witbank Breakfast

Postby M I Claase » Wed Oct 31, 2012 7:37 am

Witbank is within striking distance for a lot of you guys that normally only fly a 25 km radius around your base. Come and join us for a breakfast this Sat the 3rd from 7. From Kitty Hawk it is only 75 km. Kom Juanita kom wys ons jou nuwe masjien! On route you might just be lucky to find a troop of baboons. You WILL find Malemas which is not as exciting as baboons. Give us a indication if you are coming.

Jacques

Just confirm the joining and landing procedures as well, due to parachute drops at the airfield, a parachute over your rotor might just create unnecessary drag.

Gps and radio references correct. Runway 04 or 22. Runway 04 mostly in use and tommorow you will most likely have a 15 km crosswind from the left on 04. Runway 04 and 22 can be joined with lefthand downwind. The parachute guys are only active from 9 o clock and therefore normal joining wil be applicable if you arrive early. If you arrive later try remain west of the field for 04 and if you have to join 22 try and join at least 2 km to the east when you join downwind. If you are uncertain call us on the radio and we will gladly inform you! If you need to contact me you can call me on 0832506245. Thanks for coming.
