Well guys, to those of you flying in to FAKT on Sat.... Enjoy and be safe, in theory the FABA squadron should be one of the first to arrive being only 8NM away

Weather report predicts light NW winds with high Overcast....touch wood we can have a good turnout. (^^)http://www.windreport.co.za/wg_pretoria.php

I'll see you buggers at the AGM (!!)

I'm trying to ignore the massive rain cloud hanging over my office and show some faith in the weathermen who say this will all be gone by morning -0<
Anyone who wants to join me for a first-light take off to Kitty tomorrow, I'll see you at the holding point

Well I've had a few Zamelec's so no chance of a PM flight today, but I'm off to ML tomorrow morning to see if I can get some airtime. Weather looks ok for early morn? Hope to see a few of you stragglers there. (^^)

I only like mist when I'm fishing...not when I wanna go fly. :( Waited around for an hour or so and it lifted off the deck at least...took up another first timer today but we were bound to the circuit as the cloudbase was too low for a sortie. Some nice cross wind landing practice. (^^)

Please excuse the daft look on my face...I did not know I was in the shot

Well done Samantha Shaw, you are the 9th "first timer" to sit in The Beautiful Dawn. (!!)

Thanks Feizel for the cameradery this morning  flying to Rhino Park. Your water temps are 100% man. (^^)

Checked out the new MGL fuel flow sensor. My 582 (this morning) used 24.8 l/h at full throttle @ 6440 rpm and in a level cruize, solo, @ 4800 rpm she uses 10.5 l/h. Stationary and Ideling on the ground 7.8 l/h. Ideling while flying i.e. decending with the bar neutral, 2.7 l/h. It is amazing how the speed of the air flow on the prop can change the fuel consumption? vhpy I just used MGL's standard calibration settings for this sensor. I will still fine tune the settings but they don't look too far off. Rotax gives 27 l/h at full throttle @ max rpm i.e. 6800 rpm. vhpy

Safe Flying

See you at the Braai this Saturday

Hi guys,

Please go see the thread Alan Mac started IRO the Aeroclub AGM next Wed evening.

viewforum.php?f=1

Microland makes up about 5% on Misasa's total membership...so...who will go with me to the AGM to make ourselves heard?
It's time to make the AeCSA understand that we will not be ignored. I know nobody like politics, but it is vitally important that Misasa gets the recognition it deserves, and the service it is due.

Please make the effort boyz. (^^)

Fiezel...please remind Stef to give you the fight suit, and thanks again! (^^)

We really need to get a sign up on the gate as well as at the School office ## So the guys not frequenting the forum are aware of these get togethers.

Conrad...Paul de Kok...Herman....Nick....Noel???
