Batteries, purrfect for trikes and LSA

Postby ZULU1 » Sun Oct 14, 2012 3:03 pm

Ok chaps, I have been playing with batteries and similar for a while now, mainly on charging systems but also the technology in these toys. I can bring in some Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries at 17amp hour that replace the existing SLA and Lead acid types. 100% green, no acid and can be flattened to completely knackered and still recover. 1/3 rd of the weight of the existing unit and triple (maybe 4 x) the price.. Who wants one ?. Best in the west and designed for mobility scooters and other type machines.. Let me know by email and I will add to the purchase cart. There is nothing available as good as these toys for a aircraft. We are using them for EOD work..

What is the longevity like on these batteries? How do they hold charge? My trike stands for a couple of months at a time and the 5 year old lead acid will still crank the engine.

And are they available in any other colours beside green?;)
